About the project
A technical library for electronics design
ElectroDesignForge brings together calculators and educational reference sheets for people who design, troubleshoot, or study electronic systems. Each tool is expected to explain what it calculates, what it does not calculate, and how to verify the result.
Our purpose
The site does not aim to replace a datasheet, standard, or laboratory validation. It provides a first layer of engineering reasoning: explicit formulas, consistent units, practical cases, and clearly stated limits.
Content covers resistors, filters, cables, PCBs, measurements, and connectors. New subjects are added only when a useful page can be published, rather than as a promise of future content.
How to use results
Use the calculators to prepare an estimate and compare scenarios. For a real design, always test the result against extremes, component tolerances, temperature, assembly, and the regulatory requirements of your project.
- Consult the datasheet of the selected components.
- Check applicable standards and the manufacturer’s rules.
- Measure or simulate critical functions before manufacture.
